Aoife Corcoran
SPEECH THERAPIST
Aoife earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Speech and Language Studies and worked clinically in Ireland before moving to Australia in 2022. In addition to working with clients one-on-one, Aoife also contributes to our sister businesses, The Play Way and Therapy at Home, developing products and programs. As a Speech Therapist, Aoife understands that “there is no ‘one size fits all’ method of delivering therapy, and every family needs something different to work best for them.” “Being able to reach families in a way that suits them allows us to support as many people as we can to reach their potential. I really believe we are making therapy accessible for everyone.”
Emma Bear
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
With a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, Emma began her journey in paediatrics while still studying at university. Although Emma discovered early on that her true passion lies in the paediatric space, she has also gained valuable experience across a variety of settings. At The Play Projects, Emma not only works closely with children and parents but also contributes to our sister businesses, The Play Way and Therapy at Home, helping to develop our app and programs. What Emma loves most about occupational therapy is, “that I get to help people each and every day and make their day-to-day lives that little bit easier!”
Jasmine Vermunt
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
As an occupational therapist with the Therapy at Home team, Jasmine is passionate about making therapy accessible, engaging, and tailored to each family’s needs. After earning a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in Brisbane, she moved to regional NSW, where she developed a strong interest in rural health and supporting the neurodiverse community, particularly those with Autism and ADHD. She believes in empowering families with knowledge and tools to help children thrive, embracing creativity to make a meaningful impact. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, Jasmine is dedicated to ensuring every child and family feels supported on their journey.
Kate O'Leary
SPEECH THERAPIST
Kate is a paediatric speech pathologist within the Therapy at Home team, where she helps develop innovative programs and products for families and communities. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Queensland and has worked across not-for-profit, private practice, and community settings, as well as in research and tertiary education. Passionate about accessible care, she believes no child should face barriers to communication or feeding due to location or financial limitations. She thrives on creativity, designing engaging, play-based solutions that empower children to develop essential skills in their natural environments, making learning both fun and meaningful.
